When you use a search form, the name, telephone number, or address entered goes to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a separate copy of that query. A message sent to us contains only what you choose to provide, and we use it to address your inquiry.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary logs that can include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregated log data helps us maintain the service and see which resources are useful. Basic analytics or advertising measurement may also rely on cookies or comparable technology.
How We Use the Data
These limited records support site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and content improvement. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to Cleveland County offices, North Carolina portals, libraries, or private search providers. Information submitted after following a link is controlled by that service’s policy, not ours. The same rule applies to sponsored results supplied by a third party.
Parties That Process Data
Hosting and support vendors process logs for us, while analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We may disclose information when valid legal process requires it. We do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
Safeguarding Your Information
An encrypted connection serves the site, and logs are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the stated purposes. We do not maintain user accounts, passwords, or account profiles.
Visitors Under 18
Our service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor appears to have submitted such information so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Rights to access, correct, or delete website data depend on the law that applies where you live. North Carolina has sector-specific privacy protections and consumer-protection law, but the project research did not identify a broad state consumer-data deletion statute comparable to laws in some other states. We can search our contact mailbox and available logs for a request sent through the Contact page. Records held by Shelby, Cleveland County, or North Carolina agencies remain under the custodian’s control and may be governed by Chapter 132 or another specific statute.
